Apart from our unique lagoon-front cabins, in this area, you will find our private docks: a main dock for you to swim, relax and sunbathe in the comfort of our lounge chairs, and a little secret dock where you can find even more privacy and receive the magic of our massage therapies.

Here, you can also take delight in cooking in our barbecue area, lighting a bonfire or lying down in our hammocks.

COLIBRÍ

As the Mayan legend goes, once the gods had created everything on Earth, they realised they had forgotten something very important: a messenger that could transport their thoughts and desires. Having run out of mud and maize to create, they took a jade stone and carved an arrow in it. When they blew air to get rid of the dust produced by the carving, they blew so hard that it flew into the sky and turned into a beautiful and colourful hummingbird or, in Spanish, a “colibrí”.

Hummingbirds are then believed to be messengers. It is said that, when this precious and subtle bird appears near you, someone is sending you love and good vibes; on the other hand, if it flies around your head, then take a deep breath and send good wishes to your loved ones.

It is well known that iguanas love the sun and, indeed, sun rhythms are their own too. They perfectly know when the sun rises and when it sets, and know how to enjoy that simplicity and perfection of Mother Nature’s cycles.

If you’ve felt a spark when you saw this cabin, then you’re probably a sun worshipper and nature lover too. Having a sunbath on your terrace or watching the moonrise from your balcony will likely make your heart melt.

Inside this cabin you won’t notice much difference from the outside: a tree next to your bed, another one inside your shower. The most elegant of the jungle houses, Tucán presents a tropical grace. With a mixture of Mexican designer furniture and contemporary #art on the walls, you will feel at an artist’s home.

Just like a toucan’s beak can undoubtedly capture your eyes, so can the beauty of this cabin capture your heart. And a curious fact! Although toucans’ beaks may seem heavy, they’re actually very light: toucans symbolise lightness of spirit.
