Ways to get to bacalar
From Cancun International Airport:
By car: The distance between both cities is 350 km, and the trip lasts around 4 hours. You can rent a car in Cancun and follow Highway 307 until you reach Bacalar.
By bus: There are several companies that offer this service, such as ADO and Mayab. The trip lasts about 5 hours and the prices vary according to the company.
From Chetumal International Airport:
By car: The distance between both cities is about 40 km and the estimated travel time is 30 minutes.
By bus: There are regular buses from the Chetumal Bus Station. The estimated travel time is 45 minutes.
By taxi: You can also take a taxi at the airport. Prices may vary but it is important that you negotiate it before getting into the cab.
